How To Uninstall ruby-globalid On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-globalid just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-globalid

reference models by URI for Ruby on RailsDebian 9.0ruby0.3.6-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-globalid

This will remove just the ruby-globalid package itself.

Uninstall ruby-globalid and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-globalid

This will remove the ruby-globalid package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-globalid then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-globalid

Or similarly, like this ruby-globalid

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-globalid
