How To Uninstall ruby-gobject-introspection On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-gobject-introspection just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-gobject-introspection

GObject Introspection bindings for the Ruby languageDebian 9.0ruby3.1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-gobject-introspection

This will remove just the ruby-gobject-introspection package itself.

Uninstall ruby-gobject-introspection and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-gobject-introspection

This will remove the ruby-gobject-introspection package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-gobject-introspection then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-gobject-introspection

Or similarly, like this ruby-gobject-introspection

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-gobject-introspection
