How To Uninstall ruby-gon On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-gon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-gon

Ruby library to send data to JavaScript from a Ruby applicationDebian 9.0ruby6.1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-gon

This will remove just the ruby-gon package itself.

Uninstall ruby-gon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-gon

This will remove the ruby-gon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-gon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-gon

Or similarly, like this ruby-gon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-gon
