How To Uninstall ruby-grape On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-grape just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-grape

Simple Ruby framework for building REST-like APIsDebian 9.0ruby0.16.2-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-grape

This will remove just the ruby-grape package itself.

Uninstall ruby-grape and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-grape

This will remove the ruby-grape package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-grape then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-grape

Or similarly, like this ruby-grape

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-grape
