How To Uninstall ruby-gsl-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-gsl-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-gsl-dbg

Ruby bindings for the GNU Scientific Library (GSL) - debugging symbolsDebian 9.0debug2.1.0.1+dfsg1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-gsl-dbg

This will remove just the ruby-gsl-dbg package itself.

Uninstall ruby-gsl-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-gsl-dbg

This will remove the ruby-gsl-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-gsl-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-gsl-dbg

Or similarly, like this ruby-gsl-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-gsl-dbg
