How To Uninstall ruby-gssapi On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-gssapi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-gssapi

FFI wrapper around the system GSSAPI libraryDebian 9.0ruby1.2.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-gssapi

This will remove just the ruby-gssapi package itself.

Uninstall ruby-gssapi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-gssapi

This will remove the ruby-gssapi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-gssapi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-gssapi

Or similarly, like this ruby-gssapi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-gssapi
