How To Uninstall ruby-hikidoc On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-hikidoc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-hikidoc

text-to-HTML conversion tool for web writersDebian 9.0ruby0.1.0-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-hikidoc

This will remove just the ruby-hikidoc package itself.

Uninstall ruby-hikidoc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-hikidoc

This will remove the ruby-hikidoc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-hikidoc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-hikidoc

Or similarly, like this ruby-hikidoc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-hikidoc
