How To Uninstall ruby-htree On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-htree just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-htree

HTML/XML tree library for RubyDebian 9.0ruby0.8+dfsg-3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-htree

This will remove just the ruby-htree package itself.

Uninstall ruby-htree and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-htree

This will remove the ruby-htree package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-htree then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-htree

Or similarly, like this ruby-htree

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-htree
