How To Uninstall ruby-http-connection On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-http-connection just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-http-connection

HTTP helper library for RubyDebian 9.0ruby1.4.4-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-http-connection

This will remove just the ruby-http-connection package itself.

Uninstall ruby-http-connection and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-http-connection

This will remove the ruby-http-connection package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-http-connection then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-http-connection

Or similarly, like this ruby-http-connection

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-http-connection
