How To Uninstall ruby-http-cookie On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-http-cookie just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-http-cookie

Ruby library to handle HTTP Cookies based on RFC 6265Debian 9.0ruby1.0.2-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-http-cookie

This will remove just the ruby-http-cookie package itself.

Uninstall ruby-http-cookie and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-http-cookie

This will remove the ruby-http-cookie package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-http-cookie then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-http-cookie

Or similarly, like this ruby-http-cookie

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-http-cookie
