How To Uninstall ruby-http On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-http just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-http

easy-to-use client library for making http requests from RubyDebian 9.0ruby1.0.2-4
sudo apt-get remove ruby-http

This will remove just the ruby-http package itself.

Uninstall ruby-http and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-http

This will remove the ruby-http package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-http then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-http

Or similarly, like this ruby-http

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-http
