How To Uninstall ruby-httpclient On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-httpclient just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-httpclient

HTTP client library for rubyDebian 9.0ruby2.7.1-1.1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-httpclient

This will remove just the ruby-httpclient package itself.

Uninstall ruby-httpclient and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-httpclient

This will remove the ruby-httpclient package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-httpclient then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-httpclient

Or similarly, like this ruby-httpclient

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-httpclient
