How To Uninstall ruby-i18n On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-i18n just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-i18n

I18n and localization solution for RubyDebian 9.0ruby0.7.0-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-i18n

This will remove just the ruby-i18n package itself.

Uninstall ruby-i18n and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-i18n

This will remove the ruby-i18n package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-i18n then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-i18n

Or similarly, like this ruby-i18n

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-i18n
