How To Uninstall ruby-inline On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-inline just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-inline

Ruby library for embedding C/++ external module codeDebian 9.0ruby3.12.4-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-inline

This will remove just the ruby-inline package itself.

Uninstall ruby-inline and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-inline

This will remove the ruby-inline package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-inline then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-inline

Or similarly, like this ruby-inline

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-inline
