How To Uninstall ruby-instance-storage On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-instance-storage just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-instance-storage

Ruby Library for managing class instances with dictionaryDebian 9.0ruby1.0.0-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-instance-storage

This will remove just the ruby-instance-storage package itself.

Uninstall ruby-instance-storage and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-instance-storage

This will remove the ruby-instance-storage package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-instance-storage then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-instance-storage

Or similarly, like this ruby-instance-storage

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-instance-storage
