How To Uninstall ruby-instantiator On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-instantiator just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-instantiator

Ruby library to instantiate an arbitrary classDebian 9.0ruby0.0.6+git9cbbe70-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-instantiator

This will remove just the ruby-instantiator package itself.

Uninstall ruby-instantiator and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-instantiator

This will remove the ruby-instantiator package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-instantiator then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-instantiator

Or similarly, like this ruby-instantiator

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-instantiator
