How To Uninstall ruby-jbuilder On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-jbuilder just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-jbuilder

creation of JSON structures via a Builder-style DSLDebian 9.0ruby2.3.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-jbuilder

This will remove just the ruby-jbuilder package itself.

Uninstall ruby-jbuilder and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-jbuilder

This will remove the ruby-jbuilder package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-jbuilder then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-jbuilder

Or similarly, like this ruby-jbuilder

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-jbuilder
