How To Uninstall ruby-journey On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-journey just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-journey

Journey is a router for Ruby on RailsDebian 9.0ruby1.0.4-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-journey

This will remove just the ruby-journey package itself.

Uninstall ruby-journey and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-journey

This will remove the ruby-journey package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-journey then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-journey

Or similarly, like this ruby-journey

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-journey
