How To Uninstall ruby-kgio On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-kgio just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-kgio

Kinder, gentler I/O for RubyDebian 9.0ruby2.10.0-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-kgio

This will remove just the ruby-kgio package itself.

Uninstall ruby-kgio and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-kgio

This will remove the ruby-kgio package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-kgio then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-kgio

Or similarly, like this ruby-kgio

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-kgio
