How To Uninstall ruby-kramdown On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-kramdown just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-kramdown

Fast, pure-Ruby Markdown-superset converterDebian 9.0ruby1.12.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-kramdown

This will remove just the ruby-kramdown package itself.

Uninstall ruby-kramdown and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-kramdown

This will remove the ruby-kramdown package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-kramdown then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-kramdown

Or similarly, like this ruby-kramdown

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-kramdown
