How To Uninstall ruby-logger-application On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-logger-application just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-logger-application

add logging support to Ruby applicationDebian 9.0ruby0.0.2-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-logger-application

This will remove just the ruby-logger-application package itself.

Uninstall ruby-logger-application and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-logger-application

This will remove the ruby-logger-application package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-logger-application then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-logger-application

Or similarly, like this ruby-logger-application

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-logger-application
