How To Uninstall ruby-mail-gpg On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-mail-gpg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-mail-gpg

GPG/MIME encryption plugin for the Ruby Mail LibraryDebian 9.0ruby0.3.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-mail-gpg

This will remove just the ruby-mail-gpg package itself.

Uninstall ruby-mail-gpg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-mail-gpg

This will remove the ruby-mail-gpg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-mail-gpg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-mail-gpg

Or similarly, like this ruby-mail-gpg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-mail-gpg
