How To Uninstall ruby-markerb On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-markerb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-markerb

multipart templates made easy with Markdown + ERbDebian 9.0ruby1.1.0-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-markerb

This will remove just the ruby-markerb package itself.

Uninstall ruby-markerb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-markerb

This will remove the ruby-markerb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-markerb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-markerb

Or similarly, like this ruby-markerb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-markerb
