How To Uninstall ruby-memoist On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-memoist just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-memoist

Ruby library providing method memoizationDebian 9.0ruby0.15.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-memoist

This will remove just the ruby-memoist package itself.

Uninstall ruby-memoist and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-memoist

This will remove the ruby-memoist package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-memoist then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-memoist

Or similarly, like this ruby-memoist

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-memoist
