How To Uninstall ruby-memoize On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-memoize just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-memoize

Ruby library providing speed up methods at the cost of memory (or disk space)Debian 9.0ruby1.3.1-5
sudo apt-get remove ruby-memoize

This will remove just the ruby-memoize package itself.

Uninstall ruby-memoize and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-memoize

This will remove the ruby-memoize package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-memoize then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-memoize

Or similarly, like this ruby-memoize

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-memoize
