How To Uninstall ruby-mercenary On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-mercenary just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-mercenary

Lightweight and flexible library for writing command-line apps in RubyDebian 9.0ruby0.3.5-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-mercenary

This will remove just the ruby-mercenary package itself.

Uninstall ruby-mercenary and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-mercenary

This will remove the ruby-mercenary package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-mercenary then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-mercenary

Or similarly, like this ruby-mercenary

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-mercenary
