How To Uninstall ruby-messagebus-api On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-messagebus-api just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-messagebus-api

Send email through the Message Bus serviceDebian 9.0ruby3.0.7+git.20130130.97b34ece.REALLY.1.0.3-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-messagebus-api

This will remove just the ruby-messagebus-api package itself.

Uninstall ruby-messagebus-api and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-messagebus-api

This will remove the ruby-messagebus-api package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-messagebus-api then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-messagebus-api

Or similarly, like this ruby-messagebus-api

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-messagebus-api
