How To Uninstall ruby-metaclass On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-metaclass just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-metaclass

Ruby library adding a metaclass method to all Ruby objectsDebian 9.0ruby0.0.4-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-metaclass

This will remove just the ruby-metaclass package itself.

Uninstall ruby-metaclass and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-metaclass

This will remove the ruby-metaclass package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-metaclass then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-metaclass

Or similarly, like this ruby-metaclass

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-metaclass
