How To Uninstall ruby-metaid On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-metaid just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-metaid

Some additional methods to make metaprogramming easierDebian 9.0ruby1.0-8
sudo apt-get remove ruby-metaid

This will remove just the ruby-metaid package itself.

Uninstall ruby-metaid and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-metaid

This will remove the ruby-metaid package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-metaid then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-metaid

Or similarly, like this ruby-metaid

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-metaid
