How To Uninstall ruby-metriks On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-metriks just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-metriks

experimental threadsafe, low-impact measurement library for RubyDebian 9.0ruby0.9.9.6-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-metriks

This will remove just the ruby-metriks package itself.

Uninstall ruby-metriks and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-metriks

This will remove the ruby-metriks package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-metriks then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-metriks

Or similarly, like this ruby-metriks

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-metriks
