How To Uninstall ruby-middleware On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-middleware just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-middleware

middleware abstraction for Ruby.Debian 9.0ruby0.1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-middleware

This will remove just the ruby-middleware package itself.

Uninstall ruby-middleware and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-middleware

This will remove the ruby-middleware package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-middleware then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-middleware

Or similarly, like this ruby-middleware

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-middleware
