How To Uninstall ruby-mini-exiftool On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-mini-exiftool just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-mini-exiftool

wrapper for exiftool command-lineDebian 9.0ruby2.8.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-mini-exiftool

This will remove just the ruby-mini-exiftool package itself.

Uninstall ruby-mini-exiftool and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-mini-exiftool

This will remove the ruby-mini-exiftool package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-mini-exiftool then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-mini-exiftool

Or similarly, like this ruby-mini-exiftool

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-mini-exiftool
