How To Uninstall ruby-minitest On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-minitest just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-minitest

Ruby test tools supporting TDD, BDD, mocking, and benchmarkingDebian 9.0ruby5.9.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-minitest

This will remove just the ruby-minitest package itself.

Uninstall ruby-minitest and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-minitest

This will remove the ruby-minitest package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-minitest then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-minitest

Or similarly, like this ruby-minitest

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-minitest
