How To Uninstall ruby-mobile-fu On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-mobile-fu just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-mobile-fu

detect mobile requests from mobile devices in your Rails appDebian 9.0ruby1.3.1-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-mobile-fu

This will remove just the ruby-mobile-fu package itself.

Uninstall ruby-mobile-fu and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-mobile-fu

This will remove the ruby-mobile-fu package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-mobile-fu then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-mobile-fu

Or similarly, like this ruby-mobile-fu

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-mobile-fu
