To uninstall ruby-mousetrap-rails just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-mousetrap-rails

integrate Mousetrap javascript library with Rails Asset PipelineDebian 9.0ruby1.4.6-6
sudo apt-get remove ruby-mousetrap-rails

This will remove just the ruby-mousetrap-rails package itself.

Uninstall ruby-mousetrap-rails and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-mousetrap-rails

This will remove the ruby-mousetrap-rails package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-mousetrap-rails then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-mousetrap-rails

Or similarly, like this ruby-mousetrap-rails

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-mousetrap-rails
