How To Uninstall ruby-mp3tag On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-mp3tag just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-mp3tag

Ruby library for manipulating ID3V1.1 tags in MP3Debian 9.0ruby1.0-12
sudo apt-get remove ruby-mp3tag

This will remove just the ruby-mp3tag package itself.

Uninstall ruby-mp3tag and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-mp3tag

This will remove the ruby-mp3tag package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-mp3tag then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-mp3tag

Or similarly, like this ruby-mp3tag

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-mp3tag
