How To Uninstall ruby-mtrc On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-mtrc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-mtrc

library to accumulate metrics and extract basic statisticsDebian 9.0ruby0.0.4-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-mtrc

This will remove just the ruby-mtrc package itself.

Uninstall ruby-mtrc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-mtrc

This will remove the ruby-mtrc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-mtrc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-mtrc

Or similarly, like this ruby-mtrc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-mtrc
