How To Uninstall ruby-multimap On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-multimap just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-multimap

Ruby multimap implementationDebian 9.0ruby1.1.2+gh-2+b3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-multimap

This will remove just the ruby-multimap package itself.

Uninstall ruby-multimap and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-multimap

This will remove the ruby-multimap package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-multimap then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-multimap

Or similarly, like this ruby-multimap

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-multimap
