How To Uninstall ruby-naught On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-naught just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-naught

Naught is a toolkit for building Null ObjectsDebian 9.0ruby1.0.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-naught

This will remove just the ruby-naught package itself.

Uninstall ruby-naught and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-naught

This will remove the ruby-naught package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-naught then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-naught

Or similarly, like this ruby-naught

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-naught
