How To Uninstall ruby-neovim On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-neovim just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-neovim

Ruby client for NeovimDebian 9.0ruby0.3.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-neovim

This will remove just the ruby-neovim package itself.

Uninstall ruby-neovim and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-neovim

This will remove the ruby-neovim package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-neovim then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-neovim

Or similarly, like this ruby-neovim

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-neovim
