How To Uninstall ruby-net-http-persistent On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-net-http-persistent just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-net-http-persistent

Manages persistent connections using Net::HTTPDebian 9.0ruby2.9.4-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-net-http-persistent

This will remove just the ruby-net-http-persistent package itself.

Uninstall ruby-net-http-persistent and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-net-http-persistent

This will remove the ruby-net-http-persistent package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-net-http-persistent then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-net-http-persistent

Or similarly, like this ruby-net-http-persistent

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-net-http-persistent
