How To Uninstall ruby-net-telnet On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-net-telnet just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-net-telnet

telnet client libraryDebian 9.0ruby0.1.1-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-net-telnet

This will remove just the ruby-net-telnet package itself.

Uninstall ruby-net-telnet and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-net-telnet

This will remove the ruby-net-telnet package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-net-telnet then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-net-telnet

Or similarly, like this ruby-net-telnet

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-net-telnet
