How To Uninstall ruby-numerizer On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-numerizer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-numerizer

parse numbers in natural language from strings (ex forty two)Debian 9.0ruby0.1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-numerizer

This will remove just the ruby-numerizer package itself.

Uninstall ruby-numerizer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-numerizer

This will remove the ruby-numerizer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-numerizer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-numerizer

Or similarly, like this ruby-numerizer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-numerizer
