How To Uninstall ruby-oauth On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-oauth just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-oauth

Ruby library for OAuth coreDebian 9.0ruby0.4.7-3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-oauth

This will remove just the ruby-oauth package itself.

Uninstall ruby-oauth and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-oauth

This will remove the ruby-oauth package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-oauth then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-oauth

Or similarly, like this ruby-oauth

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-oauth
