How To Uninstall ruby-oauth2 On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-oauth2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-oauth2

ruby wrapper for the OAuth 2.0 protocolDebian 9.0ruby1.2.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-oauth2

This will remove just the ruby-oauth2 package itself.

Uninstall ruby-oauth2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-oauth2

This will remove the ruby-oauth2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-oauth2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-oauth2

Or similarly, like this ruby-oauth2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-oauth2
