How To Uninstall ruby-odbc-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-odbc-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-odbc-dbg

ODBC Binding for Ruby (debugging symbols)Debian 9.0debug0.99995-2+b8
sudo apt-get remove ruby-odbc-dbg

This will remove just the ruby-odbc-dbg package itself.

Uninstall ruby-odbc-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-odbc-dbg

This will remove the ruby-odbc-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-odbc-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-odbc-dbg

Or similarly, like this ruby-odbc-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-odbc-dbg
