How To Uninstall ruby-omniauth-oauth On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-omniauth-oauth just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-omniauth-oauth

generic OAuth (1.0/1.0a) strategy for OmniAuthDebian 9.0ruby1.1.0-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-omniauth-oauth

This will remove just the ruby-omniauth-oauth package itself.

Uninstall ruby-omniauth-oauth and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-omniauth-oauth

This will remove the ruby-omniauth-oauth package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-omniauth-oauth then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-omniauth-oauth

Or similarly, like this ruby-omniauth-oauth

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-omniauth-oauth
