How To Uninstall ruby-omniauth On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-omniauth just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-omniauth

flexible authentication system utilizing Rack middlewareDebian 9.0ruby1.3.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-omniauth

This will remove just the ruby-omniauth package itself.

Uninstall ruby-omniauth and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-omniauth

This will remove the ruby-omniauth package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-omniauth then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-omniauth

Or similarly, like this ruby-omniauth

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-omniauth
