How To Uninstall ruby-parse-cron On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-parse-cron just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-parse-cron

parse cron expressions and calculate next job occurrenceDebian 9.0ruby0.1.4-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-parse-cron

This will remove just the ruby-parse-cron package itself.

Uninstall ruby-parse-cron and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-parse-cron

This will remove the ruby-parse-cron package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-parse-cron then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-parse-cron

Or similarly, like this ruby-parse-cron

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-parse-cron
