How To Uninstall ruby-pdf-inspector On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-pdf-inspector just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-pdf-inspector

Ruby library for analyzing PDF outputDebian 9.0ruby1.2.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-pdf-inspector

This will remove just the ruby-pdf-inspector package itself.

Uninstall ruby-pdf-inspector and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-pdf-inspector

This will remove the ruby-pdf-inspector package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-pdf-inspector then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-pdf-inspector

Or similarly, like this ruby-pdf-inspector

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-pdf-inspector
